By a vote of 190-6 the House passed a bill to protect homeowners from having liens placed on their homes by subcontractors and suppliers because they were not paid by a general contractor or homebuilder.  House Bill 1602, sponsored by Rep. Tom Killion, now goes to Senate for consideration.
